Originally from Burlington, North Carolina, Jamie Lee earned a B.F.A. in Fibers and Textile Design from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) in Savannah, Georgia. While studying at SCAD, she discovered her passion for pattern development, machine knitting, and felting. The time capsule she made in 5th grade filled with drawings, favorite toys and even a paw print on canvas from her dog, Handsome inspired her senior collection and a love for designing playful prints and educational toys. In the future, Jamie hopes to work as a textile designer in print and knitwear for children.
